TAKING PLACE IN 9 COUNTRIES ACROSS EUROPE

Energy Saving Action

This project is an energy saving competition between 180 public office buildings over 10 participating European regions. It’s about people, bringing employee’s together, helping them to take charge of how they use energy in their building. By making this project fun and using techniques and online tools this project will really help energy conscious organisations and people to save@work.

OVER 9,000 EMPLOYEES IN 180 PUBLIC BUILDINGS

Energy efficient offices of the future

This project has been developed so that employee’s can genuinely enjoy taking part. The competition element of the project always adds a fun dimension – we can’t help but be competitive and ironically, it’s a great mechanism for bringing people together. In addition to this, staff who engage will take away with them a new life skill, improved energy literacy, something that they could even apply to their home life.

The save@work project will provide an energy-saving template that can be used in the future, not just by the public sector but by all office-based organisations – a template for the energy efficient offices of the future!
